Third Culture Kids
Growing up between cultures bears its unique challenges - whether it’s adjusting to new environments, navigating complex identities, or feeling disconnected from both your home culture and host culture. My hope is that through my counselling approach, tailored to support TCKs and their families, I can help you find a new sense of belonging, process experiences, and build resilience.
Being an ATCK (adult TCK) myself, I have a deep understanding of the TCK experience, the hardship of transitions, unresolved grief, and the challenge of building a strong understanding who I am amid the cultures and communities that have shaped me. However, I also know the beauty of connecting with people who “get it” and the joy of feeling empowered through embracing the richness of the experiences I bring.
With this, I want to offer you a safe space to explore your feelings, navigate transitions, embrace your identity, and empower you to move forward with confidence in the rich complexity of who you are and what you have lived through. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone; I am here to help you make sense of it all.
Whether you are a TCK yourself, a partner or parent to a TCK, or someone who cares for TCK’s, my goal is to support you with whatever you bring.
